• All of the teams have been re-drawn of course since the last sweepstake was won on 23rd January.
• This update is at close of play on the reckoning day of Saturday 6th March 2010
• Disaster has struck Newcastle United. Needing a substantial four goals to win the sweepstake, they went completely berserk and scored six; this means they have bust and have to start again. Still, if they were sensible they wouldn't be Geordies.
• The trailing pack scored few goals between them and with most Premier teams not playing the sweep has actually gone into reverse this week, with Carlisle needing five more goals. Generally teams from the lower leagues are leading the way, because they have played more games.
• There is still a good chance of a winner in the next couple of weeks.

• The grey column, League Goals, is what you would see as goals scored in the newspapers etc.
• The pink goals column is the number of goals scored in the Previous Sweep.
• The blue goals column, This Sweep, is what is used to determine the winner. It is the difference between the grey and pink columns.
• The green column, Needed, is simply the exact number of additional goals your team needs to have scored by close of play on a future Saturday night to have exactly 21 in this Sweep and win
